Bio:

Chris Martin is a poet, writer, and artist from the Akron area. He graduated the University of Akron with a BA in English a few years ago, and he's returning there for his master's degree in education this fall. Chris wishes he had more time to paint.

Chris' art grows out of a deep background in illustration, with influences from film directors to comic book artists. Many of Chris' works detail the beautiful forms of the human body or call to mind those shapes. He loves contrast, stark black and whites shot through with color, and works in a variety of media.
